One of the things we have in the gold country is yes gold and we enjoy trying our best to find it where ever it hides.This is the north fork of the American just out of Colfax California and the real gold is the beautiful scenery and beautiful river winding through the canyon.I do not think theirs any thing that is as exciting as seeing gold in your pan .I have not been up on the river this year because I have been just way to busy keeping flat quack in shape.
