When our friend Petra was in town we had the fortune of taking a trip to Forest Hill and going into a working gold mine.Our friend Don the owner showed us the map of this mine and how the gold deposit came about.He then took us to the mine for a closer look at what was going on and how things worked.After the tour he invited us to eat with the miners and another first hand look and how those boys could eat as hard as they worked.His wife Anny put on a wonderful spread for all of us and we were doing quite well until one of his men said he uncovered some interesting rock that just might have gold in it.But all rocks must be looked at in the Mother Load for gold deposits.So off we went again back into the mine looking for that color that makes miners dig and some say get the gold fever.I will post more on this trip because we took so many pics and I cant share all in one blog

It looks like you and the Ms P had so much fun while she was there. I'm so glad she has good friends like you who took such good care of her. Thank you for your comment on the Quail Hill deck - still consulting re: flower boxes. On back bbq deck at moment until we decided what the heck we are going to do with them.
